What a weekend!
The Geelong Disc Golf Club was host to the 2009 Australian Disc Golf Championships over the weekend of 24th and 25th of October.
A field of just over 40 players experienced two old course locations that had been re-developed specifically for the weekend, creating new challenges for some of Australia’s best Disc Golfers, and international travellers alike.

Only one event to go now, your last chance to win tour points will be the first day of the ADGC in October, after Day 1 points will be recalculated. For the Men's Open players the best four players who are attending the ADGC will be selected after the final points are in and the player in this group who scores the best 3rd Round of the ADGC will win the title of ADGTour Champion. For now, here is the latest points table. Please let me know if you feel there are any errors. If you don't see you name, please make sure your ADG membership is current.

For all those interested in running an ADGTour Tournament in 2010,
please get in touch with me as soon as possible at
This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
as we are currently finalising the
schedule for A-Tier events for next year. We do have one spot left in
August or September for anyone who is interested. In particular we
would be interested in anyone from states who are not currently running
events (i.e., QLD, NT, SA).
Also, if you haven't registered for the ADGC yet, please do so at http://www.adgc.com.au/ .
Finally, please check the ADG website for updated ADGTour points
standings later today, things are getting quite close in the Open and
Advanced divisions.

Howdy Folks, due to the fact the ADG tour was down one event for this year the Perth Disc Golf Club has kindly volunteered to fill in the missing spot.
Perth Disc Golf Club would like to invite disc golfers of all skill levels to compete in Perth’s second A-tier event for 2009.
This two-day event will be played at different venues: the exciting new layout at South Guilford and the 20-year old home of disc golf in WA – Rob Hancock Memorial at Cockman reserve in Greenwood. South Guilford will be the venue on day one.
