We will be holding a relatively informal Disc Golf Event on Sunday January 15th for all interested participants in the lead up to the Whittlesea Oceania Classic. The format will be two rounds of 18 holes, the first round will start at about 10:45am and we will have a brief players meeting prior to this at around 10:30am. The cost for the event will be $4 per player. All players, all experience levels are welcome. This will be the first use of our nine portable DGA M-14 baskets. For those playing in the Whittlesea Oceania Classic, this is a great opportunity to get back into things and sharpen your game before taking on the long fairways at Whittlesea. We hope to see a big turn out for the Oceania Classic this year, so if we want some Victorian's to win this time some pre-tournament warm up wouldn't hurt. For players who don't have equipment, do not despair, we will have plenty of spare discs available for those who need them and there is no water to lose any discs in (just trees to get stuck in). For Ultimate players, if you want to play with an Ultrastar you can (as per Kurt's rules, baskets will play as objects for Ultrastar's), however the fairways will be quite long at times, so we strongly recommend using proper golf discs.
