The Victorian Disc Golf Open 2008 website is now up and running. Click the banner above for full event details on our new event website. Be sure to register early to get a tournament T-Shirt. This promises to be a fantastic weekend of Disc Golf and all are welcome to come and experience Disc Golf in Geelong, Victoria. Save the dates for the 24th/25th May 2008.

Man what a weekend of disc golf the weather couldn't have been better and the competition was hot in all divisions. I would like to thank all those who helped with the Perth Open this year couldn't have done it without you guys. I would also like to thank SWEET VIOLETS FLORIST for sponsoring our event they helped us pay for the booking of the parks and etc...

Stuart Adams - Mens Recreational
This year we also gave out the "Player's Player" award and this went out to Paul Arden One it was for making the trip over to play in our event and also for the help and knowledge he dished out to people on the two days of competition.

The 10th Sizzler at Eddison Park was a great success thanks to the keen disc golfers who supported it. Also there was the first tourney Ace, fittingly by local Jim who started DG only 3 years ago. New course records were set, the usual hot weather was absent & the predicted rain stayed in the fast moving dark clouds overhead. The cool gusty winds added to the challenge of missing trees on drives & approaches, & holing putts into headwinds.
