Wonder Woman Katie Stafford has played her last MM for a while, as well as Hector Rivera Melo, both leaving Sydney for other adventures. It’s been marvellous to see their progress from virtually beginners to players of quite high calibre. I hope they’ll remember where they started when they win the Worlds… Good for others to actually see how fast and how much you can improve if you only play once a week for a few months. Hector has been pushing his scores down bit by bit and finished off with a round of 60, one under par. Katie pushed Uai Stack to bring out her best game, improving her own record with quite a few strokes – truly impressive ladies!
