Player Divisions
Simple Explanation of Player Divisions
AusTour events will utilise a simple set of player divisions based on age, skill and gender. Note that in 2007 there will be no specific distinction between Pro and Amateur players as AusTour events will not provide cash payouts at this stage (merch and trophies only). The divisions are as follows:

Note that in the case of the Open division, allocation is compulsory for players with a PDGA rating of over 935 or 800 for men and women respectively. Note that others may choose to compete in this category, even if they have a lower rating.
Note that when event reports for A-Tier ADGTour events are submitted to the PDGA, the correct PDGA division codes will be used based on the requirements specified by the PDGA. This reallocation of divisions will be performed by either the TD or ADG. Please see the PDGA Website for PDGA Division details.
