This inaugural event will be presented by Down Under Disc Evolution in conjunction with Australian Disc Golf and is a preparation event for bigger and better things in 2015.
In 2013 we are testing the tournament team and using a Golf Course Layout similar to Japan Open Style in the hopes to make this the biggest tournament on the calendar in the Southern Hemisphere in 2015. International and Interstate players have been invited but the focus will be on a small local player base with the intention of getting as much feedback as possible to ensure the 2015 event will be the best yet.
So if you’re in the west grab you discs and you mates and come check out the course in Mundaring, the course boasts the best elevation and layout yet played on this continent and the Mundaring Golf Club have opened their heart and their facilities to ensure our success. The Mundaring Golf club is also considering a permanent setup with Disc Golf and Ball Golf running side by side similar to Whittlesea so your support will go a long way to thanking the Mundaring Golf club for their interest and support for this to occur. If you love throwing Discs and Disc Golf come show them what a great fit this sport will be for their club.
The Course design for this tournament is going to challenge each and every player, your discs will fly farther and don’t be fooled by the open layout, and your control will be best suited for this tournament which takes in elevation, tunnels, water, islands, elevated basket and the Natural Australian bush with views of Mundaring.
