First of all, a belated Happy New Year to all of you from the Sydney Disc Golf Club, wish I could say I had a good start to the year disc golf-wise but more on that later. Our first MM’s of the year greeted us with some unseasonably mild weather which was very welcome considering the day before it was in the 40’s, the day had some overcast, and some infrequent gusts of wind that overall were not too bad.

A few years back there was a little student who tossed discs to his friends while they were running around on a field. Occasionally there were no friends to throw to, so the little student started aiming at trees and poles and other nice things. Soon the little student found out that it was a game bla bla bla found some old homemade targets bla bla bla

A new Eddison par 3 short course was played last weekend. It had a variety of fairways, low to high treed, open to semi open, giving players many choices for their short drives.
Interstate players from Sydney, Melbourne & Queensland joined locals totalling 25, including 3 women. There was a good turnout by the Ultrastars, some winning the new Buzz discs supplied by Albert Munoz. Click ‘Read more…’ for the rest of the story.
