Every year, Australian Disc Golf recognises the people who keep our sport running. From leagues and tournaments to countless hours behind the scenes, the Community Awards celebrate the grassroots effort that makes disc golf accessible, inclusive and fun for everyone.
The awards
Two awards are presented each year, celebrating the people who give their time so the rest of us can play.
Honouring TDs who go above and beyond in event organisation and player experience.
- Events that run smoothly and feel welcoming
- Players’ experience at the centre of every decision
- New events, new formats or new players brought into the sport
Celebrating those who selflessly give their time to grow the sport at the local, state or national level.
- Club leadership, leagues and weekly rounds
- Course setup, maintenance and installs
- Supporting TDs, mentoring and welcoming new players
How it works
Fill in the online form and tell us about the TD or volunteer who made a difference this year. You can nominate for either award.
Get your nomination in before the deadline. Every nomination is read and considered.
Before the winners are announced, ADG shares every nominee and the words of the people who nominated them.
The Community Awards are presented alongside the ADG Tour Awards at the end-of-year awards night. Everyone is welcome to tune in.
Tips for a strong nomination
- Give specific examples: an event they ran, a course they helped build, a moment that stood out.
- Tell us about the impact on players, the club or the wider community.
- Share what other people say about them. Quotes from your nomination may be featured when nominees are announced.
