Enablers

Five enablers underpin delivery of all three priorities. Without these foundations in place, the plan cannot do its job.

Our people An ADG human resource structure that directly aligns with effective and efficient delivery of this plan.
Our partnerships Agreed roles and responsibilities between ADG, AFDA, state associations, clubs, local government, commercial partners, PDGA, WFDF and others.
Digital systems Platforms and tools enabling ADG to deliver improved services and to make evidence-based decisions.
Our communications Open, honest and frequent communication with all elements of the Australian Disc Golf community.

Our values

ADG’s values define our character and guide how we work together to do what is right for the future of disc golf.

Care We passionately care about the future of disc golf in Australia and the people who deliver it. Inclusion and diversity sit at the centre of everything we do.
Accountability We do what we say we will do, when we say we will do it, openly and honestly, even when it is uncomfortable.
Respect We value everyone within the disc golf community and what they can bring to the sport. We welcome all people from all communities.
Excellence We are professional in all that we do, make tough decisions, challenge the status quo, and don’t give up when things get tough.

ADG’s operations between 2023 and 2028 are guided by this document. Annual operational plans identify and resource the strategic projects prioritised in each 12-month period. Progress is measured against the success indicators in the full plan, with particular attention to the number and diversity of people engaging in all forms of disc golf across the country.
