Already more than 20 people have tried Macq’s course in tournament play and that after only two “real” events. The word is spreading and we are spreading the word – I don’t think we’ll be fewer in the future! This time the highlights were Uai’s thai food and the two Melbournians Ian Bycroft and Paul Arden honouring us by making the long flight just to play with us. We also had a clear blue sky, 20 degrees, model plane enthusiasts, falun gong practitioners and some sprinters. I can see a lot of improvement in technique even though it doesn’t always reflects in the scores (yet). Peter Stack and Roger Barnes improved the most. Given some time, we’ll see a certain breed of Macq-golfers, easily recognised by a fatalistic attitude towards the fate of putts and a severely delayed celebration for putts that actually stays in…
